The Information Literacy game project was initiated by the Champlain College Library in partnership with the Emergent Media Center. The concept was to enlighten students about the importance of information literacy, a task that has been increasingly difficult to tackle in the digital age. Concepts of information literacy highlighted through this collaboration are the exploration, examination, evaluation, and management of information. Two games were created, “Searchlight” and “Dustin King in Locked and Literate”.
